Our Wedding

After admiring each other from afar and becoming close online friends, we first laid eyes on one another at the Moontower Saloon in Austin, Texas and from there it was history.The wedding is taking place on the same beach where we had many lunch dates, and is actually where we got engaged! We hope the guests love it as much as we do, and can't wait to share our favorite place with everyone.

The colors are shades of lighter blues and lighter greens with accents of ivory/white. Some examples have been provided below.

The attire is semi-formal, with shades or accents matching the wedding colors (lighter blues, greens, and white).The ceremony will take place in the afternoon on Rockport Beach, so it is recommended that women wear block heels, wedges, or sandals to navigate the sand comfortably.

Dress Code

Upon arrival to the beach there will be a checkpoint where you would normally show your beach permit to get onto the premises. You should be able to inform the attendant that you are here for the wedding, and they will let you through. Be aware that there are multiple pavilions located along the beach, the wedding will be taking place at the very end of the beach at the double-size Saltwater Pavilion.

Travel

There are many fun things to do around Rockport and we hope our guests find some time to explore the town we love! Some of our favorite places are: Goin' Coastal Outfitters - 103 S Austin St, Rockport, TX 78382A boutique of beach themed attire and gifts, that is also home to our favorite snow cone and ice cream shop! Treasure Islander - 301 S Austin St, Rockport, TX 78382A beach souvenir shop that has the best selection of seashells in town. The Big Blue Crab - 1522 E Laurel St, Rockport, TX 78382Right at the entrance to the beach, this new crab was built to replace the one destroyed by Hurricane Harvey. We donated to its construction, and have a brick engraved with our name and the date we first started dating. It is also the location where the groom proposed to the bride that led to this wedding!
